Eligibility for Return & Refund

You may return products within 30 days of purchase, provided the item:

  • Is unused, in original condition, and in original packaging
  • Includes all manuals, labels, accessories, or bonus items received
  • Is accompanied by valid proof of purchase or receipt

Note: Used or damaged items, or items missing parts not due to our error, are not eligible for return.

Refund Policy

Full refunds are applicable only for items that are:

  • Returned in original condition
  • Proven to be defective or dispatched in error by Afritropic
  • Refunds are processed within 14 working days of return approval.
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method or as store credit if item was a gift.

Note: Sale or Final Clearance items are non-refundable, unless defective.

Exchanges

We only replace items if:

  • They arrive defective or damaged
  • You contact us within 7 days of delivery

Gifts

  • If marked as a gift at purchase, a gift credit will be issued upon return.
  • If not marked as a gift, the refund will go to the original buyer.

Important Seed Notice

  • Products like seeds are quality-tested and packaged to high standards.
  • We are not responsible for poor germination due to:
    • Poor agricultural practices
    • Lack of knowledge or improper handling
    • Bad nursery management, soil conditions, or irrigation issues
    • Farmers and agro-dealers are advised to consult our agronomists and follow Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).

Agro-dealers must store seeds under recommended conditions. Poor storage voids refund eligibility.

Shipping & Returns

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except for defective or incorrect items.
  • For products valued over ₦20,000, use a trackable shipping service.
  • All returns must be addressed to Support@afritropic.com (attach receipt + reason)

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Items returned after 30 days (or after 7 days for perishables)
  • Products used or altered from original condition
  • Failure to confirm product availability before payment
  • Items returned without valid receipt or packaging
  • Items used contrary to instructions (e.g., cooking groceries)

Product Availability & Order Confirmation

  • Always confirm item availability and specifications before payment.
  • Do not make payments without invoice confirmation.
  • If an unavailable item is paid for without confirmation, the company may:
    • Issue a refund at its discretion, or
    • Offer another item of equivalent value
